An Oklahoma Devotion: Save Route 66
Route 66 is an iconic American highway that stretches from Chicago, Illinois to Santa Monica, California. It is known as the "Mother Road" and has been a symbol of American culture and travel for generations.
In Oklahoma, Route 66 passes through some of the most beautiful and historic parts of the state. It winds its way through rolling hills, vast prairies, and charming small towns. Along the way, it passes by numerous iconic landmarks, including the Will Rogers Memorial Museum, the Blue Whale of Catoosa, and the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum.

However, Route 66 is under threat. In recent years, the highway has fallen into disrepair, and many of its historic landmarks have been lost. In Oklahoma, several sections of the highway have been closed or rerouted, and many of the remaining businesses and attractions are struggling to survive.
That's why a group of dedicated Oklahomans have come together to form the Oklahoma Route 66 Association. The association is working to save Route 66 and restore it to its former glory. The association is working to raise funds to repair the highway, restore historic landmarks, and promote tourism along the route.
The Oklahoma Route 66 Association needs your help to save Route 66. You can donate to the association, volunteer your time, or simply spread the word about the importance of saving this iconic highway.
