About the Authors

Paul Holes is a retired cold case detective who spent decades investigating the Golden State Killer case. He is now a consultant for the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office and a professor at the University of California, Irvine.

Robin Gaby Fisher is a journalist and author who has written extensively about true crime. She is the co-author of the book I'll Be Gone in the Dark.
