About the Author
Maya Lee is a writer and journalist from Washington, D.C. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, and NPR. The DMV Times Salon Aubrey is her first novel.
Lee holds an MFA from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. She is currently a professor of creative writing at Howard University.
